Free Lupus Clinic Opens
January 2013 marked the start of the lupus specialty clinic for uninsured patients in Orange and Seminole counties. The clinic is offered through Shepherd's Hope and is supported by the Lupus Foundation of Florida (LFF). LFF members Pat Weinstein, nurse practitioner, and Martha Emerson are seen here at the clinic with materials provided to patients on behalf of the LFF. Pat sees the patients adn Martha acts as LFF patient liaison providing information on health resources and suggestions for self-management.
